We have Cardboard and Duct Tape available for sale in the office.
We have four different age groups :
- 5 – 7 years
- 8 – 12 years
- 13 – 17 years
- 18 & adult
Construct a boat out of nothing but cardboard (NO tubes or waxed cardboard allowed, only corrugated cardboard) and 120 yards of duct tape! Then, get ready to race. Paddles and life vests are supplied. Paddle out and around the buoy and back. First one in wins! Two Man Boat – you still only use 120 yards duct tape. All Two Man Boats MUST have at least one person that is 15 years or older. (No separate age group categories)
Starting Friday @ 4pm – Saturday Morning @10am – Pick up your supplies and rule sheet. You can build your boat at home and bring it in. All rules must be followed and boat must pass tech to race.
*12:30 pm Boat Tech @ Bonnie Lake
ALL boats MUST be present to be eligible to race
* 1:00 pm – The Races will start at 1:30 PM sharp
(a portion of the beach will be closed during the races)

- Decorate a Pumpkin for The Great Pumpkin Decorating Contest
- Daily Campers – Decorate Your Site for the Site Decorating Contest. Sign up ahead in the office. Sites will be judged at 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening and Winners will be announced in the morning at the office
- SEASONAL AREA DECORATING CHALLENGE Everyone votes in the office – Winning Area Will be announced Sunday, Sept. 25th of the 2nd Halloween Weekend
11:00 a.m. – Design & Color Your Own Trick or Treat Bag ($5)
3:00 p.m. – Pumpkins Should Be Turned In For The Great Pumpkin Decorating Contest (Winner Announced at DJ)
3:30 p.m. – Kid’s Costume Jam – Come to the office for a special Halloween Treat
4:00 – 6:00 p.m. – Trick or Treat. If you’re handing out treats be sure to sign up for a chance to win $50 Wilderness Bucks Gift Certificate. Click here to sign up.
If you are only handing out candy, you have the option to leave your trick or treat station unattended on the “Honor System.” DO NOT LEAVE ALCOHOL UNATTENDED.
Please make sure you check folks you are serving alcohol to that they are over 21. You are responsible for making sure that you are not serving minors as adult Liquor Treating is NOT a campground sponsored event.
